Basic Policy On Environment & Safety
From the day of establishment, Kyodo Yushi has been committed to the practical application of Tribology, which has served to conserve and protect natural environment in the form of energy and natural resources saving. Today, society expects a new harmony between corporations and the global environment, and Kyodo Yushi fully recognizes its responsibility to provide “technology and products that are kinder to the environment.” Kyodo Yushi will continue to be committed to the following activities:
We will:
1. Fully comply with all the relevant laws and ordinances regarding corporate activities and the regulations in the industry to which we belong, and actively engage in measures to prevent environmental pollution, as well as to protect the health and safety of our employees.
2. Design products that are effective with less user consumption, based on properly identified environmental demands and using materials which do not adversely affect the environment.
  3. Manufacture products that have low environmental impact by promoting environmental awareness among our employees to ensure minimization of waste and hazardous chemical substances and optimization of energy efficiency.
4. Manage our plant in a manner that is friendly to the local natural environment and free of accidents and/or disasters or conditions that endanger health and safety of our employees.
5. Ensure safe transportation of products and provide customers with information necessary for proper and safe use of products.
6. Cooperate with our affiliated companies and customers around the world in the activities related to environmental conservation.
7. Make every effort to minimize environmental impacts throughout products’ life cycle.
8. Ensure every employee is aware of the importance of the environmental issues and encouraged to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
