Kameyama plant is located near farmland and surrounded by lush greenery. We make sure that strict fire preventive measures and wastewater management are maintained at Kameyama plant in order to ensure our activities here, including manufacture and storage of oil products, are done in harmony with the natural surroundings.
In wastewater management, we have an external laboratory inspect the wastewater quality on a regular basis to make sure the water quality-based effluent limits agreed with Kameyama city are maintained.
Sewage is treated in a septic tank before being transferred to the on-site wastewater treatment facility, where wastewater from manufacturing process is also collected. Here, water, oil and solids are separated and treated, and the treated effluent is discharged into the environment.
An outside maintenance and management service provider carries out periodic maintenance of our wastewater treatment facility. We put highest priority to safety in the operation of the facility.

Kasaoka plant is located in a fertile region surrounded by a richly green environment. Environment management is therefore very important and we make sure our activities are done in harmony with the environment.
Special emphasis is placed on strict preventive measures against fire and air/water pollution, which include monthly fire patrols organized by our internal Safety, Health and Fire Prevention Committee and the monitoring of smoke concentration and quality of treated effluent based on the measurements regularly taken by an external laboratory we have contracted for the purpose.
We also have an outside service provider carry out maintenance management of our wastewater treatment facility in order to ensure that the quality of factory effluent is maintained.
We never stop taking actions that will lead to the maintenance and continuous improvement of our environment management activities.
