Kyodo Yushi received 2009 Technology Prizes for our joint efforts with Toshiba, JAXA, NEC Toshiba Space Systems and Graduate School of Tokyo Institute of Technology on two projects: “Space grease of new composition based on cyclopentane oil” and “Flame retardant grease for centralised system by new formulation and new manufacturing process.”

Japanese Society of Tribologists was established in 1956 to promote the advancement of tribological technologies. “Technology Prize” is awarded to new product/technology for its ingenuity, novelty, quality and performance advantage in this field, as well as potential contribution to society.
