1936 - 1968

1936:	The company founder, "Soshiro Kofune", established Kofune Shokai and started sales of petroleum products
1946:	The firm was renamed Kyodo Yushi Co., Ltd.
1947:	Built Tsujido plant, started grease production
1951:	Built Kobe plant, started cutting fluid production
1952:	Joined the United States National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) as the only Japanese full-time member
1958:	Developed synthetic oil lithium-based grease "Multemp PS"
1968:	Joined United States Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) as a full member

1970 - 1990

1970:	The 1st Tribology Study Group was held (held twice annually subsequently)
1975:	Developed long life grease with wide temperature range "Multemp SRL"
1980:	Developed high-performance urea grease "Emalube"
1982:	Built Kasaoka plant and Kasaoka Branch Office (relocated Kurashiki plant and Kurashiki Branch Office for expansion)
1987:	High-performance urea grease for constant velocity joints "Raremax"
1990:	Constructed Kameyama Plant (relocated Itami Plant for expansion)

1992 - 2001

1992:	Constructed KYODO YUSHI ASIA PTE, LTD. Plant
1996:	Established U.S. local subsidiary KYODO YUSHI USA INC. (United States Branch Office closed)
1996:	Head Office Technology Division, Tsujido Plant, and Quality Asurance Department awarded ISO 9001 certification
1997:	Kameyama Plant awarded ISO 9002 certification
1998:	Kasaoka Plant awarded ISO 9002 certification
1999:	KYODO YUSHI ASIA PTE, LTD.(in INDONESIA) awarded ISO 9002 certification
2000:	Kameyama Plant awarded ISO 14001 certification
2001:	Kasaoka Plant awarded ISO 14001 certification

2002 - 2022

2002:	Developed grease for satellites "Spacelube"
2004:	Established KYODO YUSHI EUROPE B.V. in the Netherlands (Reorganization of European representative office)
2004:	Developed non-fire-spreadable grease "FR grease series"
2005:	Established local company in China, KYODO YUSHI (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD.
2005:	Developed fluorinated grease "Fluotribo Series"
2007:	Built R&D Center (moved Head Office and laboratory to current location and expanded business)
2008:	Renamed Chinese joint venture company TIANJIN KYODO-GREAT WALL LUBE & GREASE CO., LTD.
2008:	Developed grease for industrial motors "Raremax Super"
2011:	KYODO YUSHI ASIA PTE, LTD. (in Singapore) awarded ISO 9001 certification
2012:	KYODO YUSHI FRANCE SAS established in France
2012:	KYODOYUSHI-SKY CO., LTD. established in South Korea
2014:	PT KYODO YUSHI LUBRICANTS TP INDONESIA established in Indonesia
2014:	KYODOYUSHI-SKY(in South Korea) awarded ISO 9001 certification
2016:	KYODO YUSHI INDIA PVT. LTD. established in Haryana, India
2016:	KYODO YUSHI LUB-TEC (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. (TECHNICAL SERVICE CENTER) established in Shanghai, China

2017:	Kameyama Plant renamed Kameyama Office and Plant.
2018:	KYODO YUSHI (THAILAND) CO., LTD. established in Bangkok, Thailand
2018:	PT KYODO YUSHI LUBRICANTS TP INDONESIA awarded ISO 9001 certification
2019:	KYODOYUSHI-SKY CO., LTD. (SEOUL SALES OFFICE) opened in Seoul, Korea
2019:	KYODO YUSHI LUB-TEC (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. (SHANGHAI SALSES OFFICE) established in Shanghai,China
2019:	Launch of European Technical Centre at KYODO YUSHI FRANCE SAS
2019:	KYODO YUSHI MANUFACTURING AMERICAS, LLC. Starts running
2020:	R&D Center, Kameyama Office and Plant, and Kasaoka Plant upgraded ISO 9001 obtained in 1996 to 9001:2015 of which widened scope covers Head Office (Sales HQ and Admin. HQ)
